The first storm of the season rolled through yesterday and today. The news said it was only a sub-tropical storm, but boy did it pack a wallop! A big section of the Lake Worth Pier got taken out, as did this boardwalk at Jupiter Beach:
Not all the news was bad though.
Obviously more than a few local surfers were stoked for the opportunity to get out there and charge the solid overhead surf!
